Last night I met up with Caz at the O2 arena in Greenwich to see Snow Patrol for their Take back the Cities tour. We got free tickets and an after show party pass (though didn't bother hob nobbing with the band and their family and friends, though we were sitting directly behind the lead singer Gary Lightbody's mum!) I was blown away by their live performance and the stunning Origami visuals. Their music (like u2) is made for playing live, and after yesterday evening it has left me wanting to see another show. So hopefully they can come to Seattle and I can go with James, who was very jealous, as he really likes them.
