Milo's BBQ party at Grandma's

We all had fun at Milo's birthday BBQ today at the Gigs. Milo shocked his Grandparents by his reading, writing and Maths skills, and had many presents to open from his generous family. He didn't stop eating all day and was very partial to Grandma's home grown peas. He managed to polish off a man size burger and barely came up for air when it came to eating the cake and ice-cream, as well as covering himself in chocolate icing in the process! He was pretty non-stop all day but enjoyed himself, as did we. Grandma Lynn and Vin did an amazing BBQ spread. Thanks guys!

Milo is 4 today!

Milo turned four today. It has been quite year for this kid and he has had to work quite hard, but he has grown in leaps and bounds and we are very grateful. He had a good birthday. He got balloons, presents, cards, cake and lots of birthday wishes. He had a gluten/dairy free cup cake here and will have a bigger cake made my Grandma tomorrow at his birthday BBQ. We love you Pork Chop!

Lowest tide of the year

Me and Milo headed off to Constellation Park which is a marine reserve about a 5-10 minute drive from our place. This weekend is the lowest tide of the year, and we had such fun looking at all the sea life. There were so many sea creatures, and we loved looking under rocks and in pools to see what we could find. We also saw a clingfish which I didn't get a photo of. But here are some I took.
Red sea cucumber
Purple sea stars
Milo saying "Cheese Cheese cake!"
An impressive Lions mane Jelly fish (for scale look at the leaf on the left)
Can't remember the names of these
Purple Sea stars (not sure what those things next to them are - maybe eggs?)
Fried egg Jelly
Sunflower Sea star (never seen one of these before)
The impressive and big Moon snail
